Chitchen Itza was an amazing place. It has been named one of the 'New 7 Wonders of the World'. We spent several hours wondering around in amazement. We also hired a personal guide to take us around the grounds which turned out to be well worth it. Alfredo was great. He grew up in the little village just outside of
Chitchen Itza & just know so much about the Mayan culture. It was amazing & we really enjoyed our time there. On the way out the paths ways were lined with locals selling all their arts & crafts.
Kaiden was
fascinated by them all. Mollie & I managed to get a couple of bargains between the both of us . . . . & that was just the beginning . . . .
