Back in Denver . . . .

We headed back to Denver after a week in the snow. We were quite cozy in our little apartment but we managed just fine. We took the van Huisen's to Kaiden's favourite breakfast place. Those of you who have visited with us will know where I am talking about cause we would have taken you there as well . . . . yep, the Pancake House.

I have a photo of Kaiden & Rori on our mobiles by the Yarra River in Melbourne when they were about 18 mths & 2 yrs old. So when they started playing with the phones I had to take the photo. They really are talking to each other. Kaiden actually rang Rori.

Look, James has some friends as well. We gave the kids Build a Bears for Christmas & they seemed to really love them. We gave Rori the Cheetah, Anakin the Puppy and Jonah the Turtle. So true to form (at least in our house hold) the new friends came to breaky with us.
We also went to the Colorado Train Museum. Dean & Phe's boys (particularly Jonah) are really into trains so we all went to the Museum to check it out. All the kids had a great time running around and climbing all over the old trains. Rori & Kaiden pretty much stuck together most of the time. Now that Rori was feeling better & firing on all cylinders they were off. Kaiden really had a great time playing with his new BFF. He has a few but those he
has he really loves.

Believe it or not all the kids were there as this photo shows.
Rori, Kaiden, Jonah & Anakin
But from my photos you would almost think it was just the two of them. I just followed them around the train yard. They played trains & shops & kitchens & all sorts of things. Kaiden really had a great time with his old friend.

Kaiden & Rori
How cute are they.

Eventually it was time for the van Huisen clan to be on their way. Kaiden was really sad to see the kids leave. He just had such a good time with all of them. From Denver they headed south west towards the canyons and eventually will end up in San Diego. It really was so great to see them. We only get to see them usually when we visit Melbourne. Although they did make the trip all the way to Perth for our wedding. Dean & Pheona are awesome friends. The type that you catch up with every couple of years or when ever circumstances allow & it's as if you just saw them last week.
Safe travels my friends . . . . until next time!

Dean, Pheona & Kelly.
