The end of Sarah's visit.

Of course no visit to Denver with the Dexter's is complete without us dragging you to a Rockies game. Hey they are the Red Sox or the Yankies but we're quite fond of them!! Go Rockies!!

Another favourite of ours is Rocky Mountain National Park, which we took Sarah to on Wednesday. Kaiden skipped school so he could come which I wasn't sure would be a good idea since he was a little under the weather. He was fine, although it showed by the end of the day. Poor little guy was beat!

Not really sure what look Sarah and Kaiden were going for but hey, they were in the Visitor's centre and it had to be done. Kaiden loved the outfit . . . He is a Junior Ranger after all. Next time we go to a NP we have to remember to let him wear his very own 'real' rangers uniform. (thanks Nana) He was really disappointed he didn't have it with us at Yellowstone.

We didn't see heaps of different types of animals in the park like we normally do but it is the Fall. We did however see A LOT of Elk. It's their mating season so they were in fine form and EVERYWHERE which was great because Sarah had never seen elk before. We also saw deer and chip monks and squirrels, you know the regular stuff. We finished off the day with a late lunch and early dinner at Penelope's. Estes Parks finest burger and shake joint! Yumm!! Another Colorado must see.

On Sarah's last day we headed down town for a little look see. Plus I had to take her to my favorite place to eat by far. Down Town is the place of the only ESPN bar in Denver. It is awesome. Sport, sport and you guessed it, more sport. It is great. They have 13 different channels of sport in front of you and if you are in a booth which I always am, you can choose one of the channels to show on your booth's little TV. They even have TVs in the loo so you don't miss any of the action. I think they have about 127 TV in total. I know it is totally a boys dream come true but there are some of us chicks out there that just love it as well. Coll, you would LOVE this place!! Anyway, after lunch it was time to pick up Kaiden from the bus. Then the 3 of us headed to the last of the must see and do in the Dexter tour of Denver . . . . the Outlet Malls. We were there until closing and Sarah shopped her little heart out. I grabbed a little something for the Simon, Kaiden and myself too. Well, we were at the mall. What did you want me to do. You can't go to the mall with out getting a little something. Even James scored something but more on that in a later post. The next morning it was time for Sarah to jet off. Thanks for visiting Cuz.
