Seven Falls is just near Colorado Springs which is about an hour & a half south of Denver. We picked up Simon around 5pm after work and headed down to the falls. We wanted to be able to see the falls in the day light & once the sun went down. It was just a small place although there are a couple of trails that you can hike on before 6pm so we didn't do that. Seven Falls is a little misleading as there isn't seven waterfalls there is one large waterfall with seven sections of it and it is these sections that they light up at night. It changes colours & the seven parts of the falls are different colours at different times. It was really pretty.
This is the look out that you can either take the elevator or the stairs. Kaiden had fun looking through the telescopes. Kaiden & I took the stairs and everyone else took the elevator. Although, Simon, Kaiden & I walked up the stairs just next to the waterfall which was a hike. It was nice though. Great view from the top. Actually I think Rob went about 1/2 way. There were a lot of stairs. It was worth the trip though & so close to Denver. Beautiful!!
