Thanks to the Bentley's

Thank you Caitlin, Sean, Colleen & Dean. Kaiden loves all his Birthday gifts. He was very impressed! He said "Oh, I love that jam. How did they know I wanted that?" I don't know but they are pretty clever! Huge hit! We will go & get him some black boardies to match his Maggies rashy. I suggested he put the shoelaces on his new heelys which he also got for his Birthday. "Mum, that is genius!" They needed to be returned for a bigger size. Hopefully they will be here soon. So he is one happy little boy. Thanks Coll xox

This is one of my favourite pictures . . . .

Kaiden loves his buddy Lica. Paul Licuria has been so nice to Kaiden that he really believes they are buddies. Lica has writen him a letter and recognises him when he's come up to say hello at training and functions. He even remembered Kaiden's bithday and asked him about it while at a Collingwood training session. For someone of his profile to give so much attention and time to a little kind and really make him feel like they are mates, is brilliant. It shows what type of man he really is. And for a mother there is nothing better than having your child feel like he really is something special.
Kaiden was devistated when I told him that Lica was retiring and wouldn't be playing for the Magpies anymore. If you think I am exaggerating, think again. He literally burst into tears and said "Why Mummy, why? He still plays really really really good" He only calmed down when I explained and said that he would still be around the club and he could see him at the VFL games. I had to promise that we would go to one of the VFL agames next time we are in Melbourne. I love that he is passionate about the Magpies. He has black and white in his blood. That makes me smile.
